The groom's twin sister Fun Fact: Hannah discovered a tuberculosis vaccine strategy during her master's thesis which will begin human clinical trials in South Africa around the same time as the wedding!

The Bride's eldest sister- Hanifa who she lovingly refers to as Apa Fun Fact: Hanifa can draw with her toes. She also taught herself to sign her name with her toes as well.

The Bride's younger brother! Fun fact: Naveed would have to take Namaan everywhere with her when they were growing up so he eventually became friends with all her friends. The 7 year age gap has yet to be an issue.
Mariam

The Bride's second oldest sister-Mariam. Her first playmate and sparring partner Fun Fact: Mariam has done 5 Model United Nations in her life.

Alex's cousin and roommate when the groom first moved to San Diego. Jimmy was also Naveed and Alex's roommmate throughout the Pandemic Fun Fact: Jimmy is a 2-time Nevada state free throw champion (2007-2008)
Chandra

Chandra and Naveed became best friends their freshman year of high school and still remain as close as ever. Fun Fact: Chandra has traveled to 10 countries and hopes to visit more.
Kyle

The Groom's College roommate from undergrad and a member of the TRIPOD. Alex and Kyle are best friends. Fun Fact: Kyle has done a solo cross country drive from Boston to Orange County.

Erika and Naveed have been best friends since they were 11. Naveed likes to joke Erika is the reason twins are drawn to her. Fun Fact: Erika was a gymnast throughout her life and even competed in College

One of Alex's high school friends. They played on the volleyball team together in high school and stayed friends since. Fun Fact- Mathayo is TRUE anime nerd
Lauren
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Naveed became close friends because Erika and Lauren are twins. The friendship became family when Lauren and the bride's sister Mariam went to undergrad together. Fun Fact- Lauren and Naveed are both getting married this October and they are in each others wedding parties.
Emanuil

Emanuil- who the bride and groom affectionately refer to as Manny became friends with the groom when they both started at Columbia for undergrad. Fun Fact: Manny built a car from scratch in undergrad
India

India and Naveed met in college while playing a married couple. Fun Fact: India was the lead in an American Premier production at Karamu House, the oldest African American Theatre in the country.

Derek and Alex grew close when Naveed and Zoe forced them to hang out. They realized they have common interest. Fun Fact: Derek has buckles permanently on his eyes to keep his retinas attached.

Zoe met the bride her freshman year at Wells. Zoe and Alex were in the same year. Naveed claimed Zoe as her freshman and they have stayed friends ever since. Fun fact: When Zoe was 6 they were in a couple of "Mail Time" segments from Blue's Clues.

Shannon and Naveed had a rocky start to their friendship but it blossomed once they found their shared interest. Fun fact: Shannon loves to cook and bake and is quite good at both

Alex and Derek clicked instantly when they met through their combined plan program at Columbia. Derek became a core member of Alex's friend group in undergrad. Fun Fact: Derek received an award in 4th grade for saying all 50 states the fastest.
