The weather in Guatemala is between 60 and 80 degrees all day and night with some humidity and some rain . Please bring a rain jacket and anything you would typical wear in So Cal during April/May. The Welcome Drink attire is casual, meaning anything you would wear to an evening BBQ. The Wedding attire is Dressy Casual, so no flip flops or shorts/jeans for guys, but feel free to get comfortable and leave your tie & jacket at home. Ladies typically know what dressy/casual means, but super high heels and stilettos are a bad idea at the Lake. The path to and from the venue is rocky, so thick/chunky heels or flats will work best. A light jacket/shawl is also recommended. Brunch is super casual so just bring a bathing suit and your party pants.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, let us know and we can see if we can accommodate.
We love all of your children! Unfortunately the venue will not be conducive to having a bunch of tiny people running around. If you want to bring mom or dad with you to babysit feel free!
Yes. Guatemala is safe as long as you aren't an idiot. Please don't walk alone at night and don't flash your cash all over town.

Yes. There is Zika in Guatemala and the rest of Central and South America and parts of North America, however, there have been no reported cases in the Lake Atitlan region or Antigua Guatemala.
Nope. Just as with all countries in Central America, you cannot drink the tap water without getting a serious case of the sq***ts. Please make sure to have plenty of bottled water wherever you go.
