Do you have a registry?

Yes! We have one here on Zola, and another on Amazon which is also linked on our Registry page here.

What is there to do in Tahoe?

Are Children Invited?

Answer

Absolutely! Our wedding ends early with the idea that those who wish to continue to party can do so downstairs at the bar, or head out to put their littles to bed at a decent hour!

Will there be childcare?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be providing childcare nor entertainment for our beautiful children. If you want, we would be happy to work with you on finding a trusted babysitter in the area!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking can be tough and tight as it is a small parking lot. We highly suggest getting an AirBnB within walking distance or carpooling with other guests. There is parking on the street as well.

Can we take/post pictures?

Answer

We ask that you be fully be present during our ceremony. We fully trust our photographer to capture the raw moments, and we will have designated people who will Live Stream our special moment for those who cannot attend the wedding. For the reception, please feel welcome to take as many pictures as you would like and if you choose to post them, we would love it if you used our hashtag #HappilyPorteraAfter !

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

You are free to update your RSVP before Friday, April 30th as we need to a final guest count at that point in time to continue with our venue.

What Covid precautions are being taken?

Answer

We are working closely with our venue to abide by county and state ordinances surrounding the pandemic. The ceremony is being held outdoors and the reception area is indoors, but the windows overlooking the lake will be open to have max ventilation. The venue asks that we wear masks while entering and exiting the restaurant, and in public spaces.

Will there be food options for me?

Answer

Our chef is providing vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options! If you have allergies, please let them know at the time you place your order.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We suggest getting to the venue thirty minutes prior to the ceremony to allow for ample amount of time to find parking and to find your seat. The ceremony will start at noon.

What if I cannot be present?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed, and we would love it if you could still be a part of our big day. If you would like, after you update your RSVP, let the bride know via text at (408)569-5361 and she will add you to our secret Facebook group where you will find more information about our live stream.
