This is our top pick for our out of town guests. This hotel is close to Interstate-465, which takes you just about everywhere in the city, and it is literally 5 minutes away from our reception venue. The rooms range from $71-117 per night (that does not include tax), depending on what size and layout you choose. You will be within 15 minutes of downtown Indianapolis attractions, and 15 minutes away from the airport.

If you are less interested in being close to the reception venue, and desire to be closer to the city action, this is the hotel for you! The Hampton Inn is in the heart of downtown, walking distance from Monument Circle, countless upscale restaurants, shops and Circle Centre Mall. The Indianapolis Zoo and Canal Walk are also within a 5 minute drive. Their rooms range from $132-170 (this price does not include tax). This is a 15-20 minute drive from the reception venue (depending upon traffic).

Our third and final hotel recommendation is for those of you who may be on a tighter budget! The Days Inn in Plainfield is 15 minutes from the reception venue, about 7 minutes from the airport and rooms start at $58 per night (price does not include taxes). Plainfield is a little further away from the action and attractions of Indianapolis, it lies on the outskirts on Interstate-70 (which leads to Interstate-465). However, you are still within a 5-8 minute drive from a Walmart, gas stations and numerous fast food restaurants.
Travel Note
We recommend using a rental car for transportation, as Indianapolis is a large city with widespread activities. If you choose not to use a rental car service, we recommend using Uber or Lyft. Our reception venue is 11 minutes (9 miles) away from the airport, and the ceremony venue is 16 minutes (13 miles) away from the airport. The ceremony and reception venues are 15 minutes (6.5 miles) apart.
