Paco's Taqueria
Definitely one of our favorite places for authentic Mexican food. Great menu choices and very reasonable prices. This is somewhat of a hole in the wall restaurant, a hidden gem! We love the elote, chimichangas and steak tacos. We never leave disappointed.
The Juicy Seafood Restaurant & Bar- Castleton
We absolutely love a good, spicy seafood boil. Now we know New Orleans does it best, but we think Juicy's has some of the best in town! Get the Mr. Captain, Juicy Special, Extra Hot... and tell them the Lamberts sent you!
Eagle Creek Park
One of our favorite hobbies is hiking, we just love the great outdoors. If you're looking to get some fresh air, nature vibes and good exercise.. we recommend Eagle Creek over on the west side of town. In addition to hiking, they have bike trails, canoes and fishing available. Bring your own gear or ask about rentals!
The Fashion Mall at Keystone
Between The Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing and Castleton Square Mall, you can find just about anything you need! If you are looking for a more upscale shopping experience, we recommend the Fashion Mall. There are also countless shops in between, including TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Nordstrom Rack, DSW and Saks Fifth Avenue. The malls are only 2.5 miles apart!
Castleton Square
Between The Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing and Castleton Square Mall, you can find just about anything you need! If you are looking for a little bit of everything and a more casual experience, we recommend Castleton. There are also countless shops in between, including TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Nordstrom Rack, DSW and Saks Fifth Avenue. The malls are only 2.5 miles apart!
Massachusetts Avenue
We recommend hitting Mass Ave, which is one of the more trendy areas of town. This long street is lined with restaurants, bars, lounges and specialty shops. The crowd is always lively and there's always something to do. Grab an electric scooter (Byrd or Lime) and head over to Bakersfield, they have some of the best margaritas in town!
Sultana Cafe & Hookah Bar
When we are looking for a more relaxed vibe, we make our way down to Mass Ave to hit Sultana. They've got good drinks, a variety of hookah flavors and some of our favorite wings around (we recommend the Sweet Sesame and Shatta Glaze). Very laid back and always a good time for a relaxed night out.
