We’ll be arranging private transportation to and from the Eagle (EGE) airport for those who request a ride. Just send us your flight details so we can plan your pickup. If you’d rather have your own car, rental cars are available at EGE or DEN airport. Chelsea is happy to help you book one. Just let us know what option you choose so we can make sure everything is planned smoothly for your arrival. Staying in Beaver Creek Village? They offer a free on-demand shuttle you can request through the Village Connect app, making it super easy to get around the village.
Colorado in late September is absolutely gorgeous. Days are typically in the 60s to low 70s, and evenings cool off into the 40s. We recommend packing layers.
Beaver Creek sits just over 8,000 feet, so some guests may feel mild symptoms like a headache or light dizziness. Staying hydrated, taking it slow the first day, and going easy on alcohol can make a big difference. Natural remedies like altitude support pills or chlorophyll drops may also help. For best results, start taking them about 72 hours before arriving and continue during your first day in the mountains.
If you don’t have a car: The easiest option is the bus. From Beaver Creek Village, walk to the Beaver Creek Transportation Center and board the Eagle County Regional Transit (ECO Transit) bus heading toward Vail. The ride takes about 20–30 minutes and drops you at the Vail Transportation Center, which is a short, flat walk or quick free in-town bus ride into Vail Village. If you do have a car: Driving is easy and takes about 15–20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once in Vail, park in the Vail Village or Lionshead parking structures and explore on foot. Vail Village is fully walkable once you arrive.
