Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or dressy casual is requested. We kindly ask that you do not wear jeans of any sort.

Should I RSVP on the website?

Answer

While you are not expected to RSVP on the website, if you already know you are for sure going to be able to attend or not attend, it would greatly help our planning to know as soon as possible. Go ahead and RSVP under the 'RSVP' tab. The wedding invitation will have a pre-stamped return card that you can send back to us as well.

Do you have a hashtag?

#tohaveandtoholifield We would love if you would use our hashtag when posting on social media for photos from during the wedding so we can look at them later and re-live our special day.

If your invitation is addressed to you and 'guest', then feel free to bring a date!

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you plan to visit uptown Charlotte or explore the area, we recommend renting a car. The venue is ~40 miles from the airport and uptown so Uber rides may add up. In order to save money and have the flexibility, we suggest you consider renting one. With the venue being located many miles from the city, Uber and Lyft drivers may also be limited.

If your invitation is addressed to your 'family', then feel free to bring your children or better yet, take a night off and enjoy yourself!

What about COVID?

Answer

In light of COVID-19, we wanted to let you know our wedding is going forward as planned. If you are not able to attend, we completely understand. We wish you health and safety during this difficult time.

What time should I arrive?

We are requesting that guests arrive by 4:00pm to be seated in plenty of time for the ceremony to begin on time. Thank you!

Please refer to the 'Travel' page on this website for information on where to stay. We have reserved blocks of hotel rooms at three nearby hotels.

Will there be Ubers or Lyfts available?

Answer

With decreased drivers due to COVID and the location of the venue, there may be limited drivers available. We suggest planning ahead and either designating a driver or having a backup option for a ride to and from the event.
