Where should I book my stay?
Answer
While the wedding is in Purcellville, VA, there are not any hotels in that town. So, we recommend booking a hotel near One Loudoun in Ashburn, VA. This is where we will be going after the wedding to keep the party going! If you look on the travel tab on this website, you will find hotel recommendations. If you like historic charm, there are also hotels near downtown Leesburg, VA which is the town in-between the wedding venue and the after-party for those not familiar with the area! There are also fantastic resort options that we listed with our suggestions!

Are children invited to the wedding?
Answer
As much as we adore your little ones and would love to include everyone, we have decided to make this an adult-only event. The only children in attendance will be our niece and nephews included in the bridal party.

What should I wear?
Answer
The attire is formal. Ladies, please wear what you feel prettiest in whether it be a cocktail dress or that floor-length gown you've been wanting to take for a spin! Men - this is not a tuxedo affair, suits are perfect! It shouldn't be too cold since it has been around 60s/70s in early October lately, but please keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (God-willing!). We do have a back-up indoor option if it is raining, so no need to worry about your hair getting wet. Also, the ceremony will not be on grass, so heel-lovers won't have any issues!

Since the wedding is on a Friday, what recommendations do you have for Saturday?

Please check out the "Things to do" tab on this site! We have listed a few of our favorite options. Since we are in the winery area of Virginia, we highly recommend checking out some of the beautiful wineries in the area! Some of our favorites are Stone Tower, Bluemont Vineyard, Williams Gap, and 50 West. If you are a beer drinker, Dirt Farm Brewery is next door to Bluemont Vineyard and has an expansive view! Another favorite is Bear Chase Brewery as they have both beer, wine, and a view! There are a lot of great hikes as well. With the fall foliage starting to change this time of year, it is picturesque. Bear's Den overlook is a great option if you don't want a long hike but want a great view (added bonus - it's across the street from Bear Chase Brewery!) What airport should I fly into?
Answer
IAD - Dulles airport is ideal and very close, only 15 minutes from the recommended hotel area. DCA - Reagan airport is the next best option as it is in Washington, DC only 40 minutes away from the hotel area we recommend staying in.
