About Tori - Through Rob's Eyes

Tori and I met in the most unexpected way—online, of all places. But from the moment we met for our first date at Bear Chase Brewery on a quiet afternoon, when the place was completely empty, there was an instant connection. It felt as if we’d known each other for years—like a conversation we were meant to have. I’ll never forget when she called me right before she arrived, asking, “What are you wearing so I can find you?” I laughed and told her, “I don’t think you’ll have any issues finding me…we’ll be the only ones here!” It was a funny moment that set the tone for how easy and comfortable we were together from the start. I was immediately drawn to her infectious personality and that amazing smile of hers. She’s one of those rare people who lights up a room just by walking in, always positive, always upbeat. Her energy is contagious, and I found myself completely captivated by her warmth and enthusiasm. We ended up losing track of time, talking for hours, and that became the pattern for every date that followed. As we got to know each other, we realized how many times our lives had nearly intersected. We went to the same high school—where I played football with her brother Matt—attended colleges an hour apart, and even lived in Arlington at the same time, frequenting the same spots without ever meeting. It felt as though our paths had been destined to cross, separated only by the smallest of moments. But when they finally did, everything clicked. As I spent more time with her, I discovered just how incredible she truly is. Her selfless personality is something I admire deeply—Tori always puts others first, whether it’s family, friends, or even strangers who need help. She has a heart that’s as big as her smile. And on top of that, she’s incredibly goal-oriented and driven, tackling everything with determination and passion. Watching her set her sights high and work tirelessly to achieve her dreams is nothing short of inspiring. But above all, what stands out the most is how deeply she cares about everyone in her life. She’s always checking in, offering support, and showing up when it matters most, with a love that’s unwavering. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us and to continue building this amazing life together—side by side, with all the love and adventures that lie ahead.

About Rob - Through Tori's Eyes

Rob and I met online which is wild considering we went to the same high school, four years apart. My brother played on the football team with Rob so it’s pretty cool to be able to say I saw my future husband at his games when I was still in my awkward redhead middle-school phase without knowing about 20 years later, that would be the man to make me the happiest I’ve ever been. Months into talking we even realized he was the “older college guy named Robbie” one of my friends in high school dated but I had never met! I guess you could say our relationship is the kind of Hallmark movie where you’re yelling at the screen for the two characters to meet already! The invisible string theory, maybe. Timing really was everything for our relationship and we met at the perfect time. He is everything I’ve been searching for all these years. I remember walking into our first date, quite literally fashionably late because I decided I needed to buy a different outfit to wear on the way to there. I immediately felt at ease with how sweet and genuine he was. (How handsome he was didn’t hurt either.) Our conversations on all of our dates were so open and easy - like two people who’ve been friends for years just catching up. I could tell he had a good heart with how passionately he talked about his job, his family and especially his nephews. I’ll also never forget him mentioning he was learning Mandarin, has 3 degrees, travels worldwide, all while being so humble (thinking to myself of “how am I going to follow that response” when he asked me the same question.) It’s been awhile since that first date and I still catch myself in awe of how intelligent, driven, funny and loyal he is. He supports, defends, and cares about his people so deeply and it is one of my favorite qualities about him. Having him by my side is the best win in the world. He is respected by everyone who knows him. Not to mention his work ethic and the standards he sets for himself are so inspiring. He would do anything for the people in his life and I am honored and so proud that he chose me as his wife! I’m so excited for the rest of our lives together, because finding him was absolutely worth the wait.
