We've been there a few times. There is a lovely walking path, plenty of spots for pictures & nice views, the lighthouse, and old fort ruins from Fort Preble.
We went here for our sea kayaking & lunch date. There's a beach, sea kayaking rentals, and food trucks in the summer time.
We watched the 4th of July fireworks here and explored the area on our many COVID walks that we took.
Since Sam worked at a motel on the beach, the couple frequented the west end of the beach often after her shifts to watch the Thursday night firework show.
We've had a few dates here picking blueberries and apples 😋 During the wedding weekend, Asian and European Pears should be in season, check out their website for more details.
A nice way to explore the islands off of Portland (you can see these islands from the wedding venue!). You can do a sunset/sunrise cruise or you can choose to take the ferry to Peaks Island and explore.
