The first time we saw each other was in the USM New Hall dorm lobby area while chatting with friends. Those same friends later on started a group message to ask if either of us would be available to pick them up from the bus station after their short school trip abroad. Sam clicked on Matt's profile and decided to message him separately; thinking that she would try to joke around with her friends and not tell them exactly who would be picking them up. This first message started a whole entire conversation that never ended, it continued on for weeks. Matt was hinting to Sam that he wanted to hang out with her; she remained oblivious to these attempts. Then one day Sam decided why not hang out together and get Aroma Joe's right down the street. They went together in her Jeep to Aroma Joe's but first they took a pit stop at Target to find waterproof spray for her winter boots. While in the store, they were being silly and Matt tried on a bunch of funny looking winter hats. After that first date, they were inseparable.
