Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place in the field in front of the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located on the Southern Maine Community College Campus.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot. It's located on Adams Street right near the venue.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have a room block for Friday & Saturday night at the Merry Manor Inn. If you book in the room block, Hanson-Rolt Wedding, you will get a discounted rate! If you want to stay more than the Friday & Saturday night reach out to the bride or groom to receive the room block rate for the other nights you want to book. There are other options in the area like the Holiday Inn By the Bay located in Portland and the Wagon Wheel Campground that has camp sites & cabin rentals in Old Orchard Beach. If you need any suggestions for other places to stay, please don't hesitate to contact the bride or groom for accommodations recommendations.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please either send your RSVP via mail or online by Monday, June 27th.

What's the venue like?

Answer

We will be getting married and having the reception right on the water in front of the Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse! You can even walk on the rocks if you wish to take a closer look at the lighthouse 🤩 The venue is on the Southern Maine Community College campus so campus rules apply to our venue too, so there isn't any smoking of any kind allowed. The campus used to be the grounds of an old fort so you can see the remnants left behind! There's a walking path that you can take to see some of the old fort that brings you to Willard Beach 🏖️ From the venue you can see two other lighthouses, the Portland Head Light and Bug Light.
