Travel Note
From Portland: Ferry travel time runs about 1.5 hours. Casco Bay Lines leaves from commercial street in Portland, near many hotels, restaurants, and parking garages. Be sure to arrive early so you have ample time to purchase tickets. If you require a ride to the Inn or your rental upon arrival to the island, please reach out to the Chebeague Island Inn. The earlier you let the inn know, the better. From Chebeague Island: No ticket purchase is required for a trip back to portland. Travel Tip: This ferry allows you to bring aboard alcoholic beverages so feel free to start the party early! Just make sure you listen for the "Chebeague Island now offboarding" announcement!
Travel Note
From Yarmouth: Ferry travel time runs about 15 minutes. However, add bus travel and waiting at the dock. The total time is 45 minutes. Parking is located at the CTC Satellite lot on route 1 in Cumberland. Arrive 10 minutes before the bus is scheduled to leave so you are able to purchase parking tickets from the bus driver. These tickets are separate from the ferry tickets, which can be purchased online. As you board the ferry, alert the deckhand if you've purchased online tickets. This ferry docks on Chebeague a very short walk from the Chebeague Island Inn. If you have a lot of luggage or do not feel up for the walk, you are able to call the Inn for a ride. From Chebeague: To return to Yarmouth, board the ferry approximately 5-10 minutes before departure by presenting your ticket to the deckhand. If you parked your car at route 1, board the bus as you get off the ferry to return. Travel Tip: There are no restroom facilities on this ferry, so plan ahead!

From Portland: Fogg's Water Taxi travel time runs about 25 minutes. This is a great option if you require a bit of flexibility with timing. You are able to schedule a ride anytime by calling in advance. When scheduling, be sure to specify "Chebeague Island Stone Pier" as your destination- this is only a short walk to the Inn. Also, make note of operation hours, if you schedule outside of their typical time it is often more expensive. Typically, you would meet for your ride at the Fogg's business at 72 Commercial St, Portland, ME. It is located down the wharf past Scales restaurant. Travel Tip: Taxis can fit up to six people and operate at a flat rate, so be sure you have five friends with you to make the most of it.

Coming by personal craft? The Inn has 8 moorings available to use. Look out for the yellow buoy with a blue stripe. Reservations are not accepted and moorings are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon arriving, give the Inn a call to arrange for a launch driver to bring you ashore.
