Train
It is easy to get to Princeton by rail! Princeton Junction station, about three miles south of downtown Princeton, is on the Northeast Corridor line, which is the primary Amtrak line in the Northeast, serving Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, and locations in between, including Newark Airport. NJ Transit also runs along the Northeast Corridor between New York and Trenton, NJ, with regular stops at Princeton Junction. Once you arrive at the Princeton Junction station, you can either catch a 10 minute uber ride to downtown Princeton or you can catch the Dinky (yes, that's what its called), a little five-minute train that runs directly to Princeton station, a 10-15 minute walk from the Nassau Inn and the Graduate. Be aware that only a few Amtrak trains stop at Princeton Junction per day. NJ Transit will offer more options, and is an easy alternative if coming from New York or Newark Airport, although it will be slightly slower. Amtrak is probably your best option if coming from Philadelphia or south, or north of New York. If you cannot book a convenient train that stops at Princeton Junction, you can book to Trenton, New Brunswick, or Newark, and transfer to an NJ Transit train with Princeton Junction service at those locations.
