Downtown
Downtown Asheville is a great place to visit while in the area. It has many local, delicious restaurants for all meals of the day. There are different museums and art attractions here for people to stop and enjoy during their trip. There are also many small, local shops to stop by for any shopping needs. Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge Parkway is an absolutely gorgeous place to visit. There are several hiking trails to hike and explore while driving through. For individuals that might not be able to, or want to hike, there are overlooks throughout the parkway where you can park your car and enjoy the breathtaking views. Biltmore
The Biltmore House is the largest, privately owned home in the United States. You can schedule a guided tour, or do a self-guided tour of the inside of this elegant home. There are many gardens and hiking trails to walk around outside of the home. On the grounds, they have quite a few restaurants and a winery for guests to enjoy. Antler Hill Village is one of Hannah's favorite places on the estate with its small shops, creamery, farm animals, museum, and more. Bearwallow Mountain Trail
This is Hannah's favorite hike in the area. The view here is gorgeous and there are cows at the top of the mountain! This is a relatively short hike, that is good for beginner hikers. The S&W Market
This market located in downtown Asheville was once a cafeteria built in the 1920s. Recently, Asheville has remade this building into a market filled with different vendors, such as local restaurants, breweries, creameries, and more. This is Hannah's favorite restaurant in Asheville, it's located downtown. Everything on the menu is great, but Hannah recommends the Grilled Chicken Panini.
