Hannah was a fresh college graduate from Tarleton State University in Texas, the state she was born and raised. Christopher was a California boy entering the summer before his senior year at Dakota State University in South Dakota. In May of that year, the two traveled to Casper, Wyoming for a summer full of baseball with the Casper Horseheads. Hannah as an intern and Chris as a player. The pair grew close that summer, spending any free moment together that they could. However all things most come to an end, and that summer was no exception with Hannah and Chris saying their final goodbye's on August 1, 2022. Hannah and Chris didn't talk for the next year as one continued their education and the other sought out new opportunities. Hannah had moved to Minot, North Dakota to work for a baseball team and Chris was finishing out his senior year. He decided to stay in South Dakota once he graduated. Heading into his new chapter of life in August of 2023, he reached out to Hannah. The following months were a whirlwind. Hannah was on the hunt for a new job and eventually looked to put her journalism degree to good use. She moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, just an hour shy of Chris in Madison, South Dakota. As we all know, the rest is history :) Hannah and Chris now reside in Madison, South Dakota, the same place they got engaged and will be wed. The summer of 2022 in Casper, Wyoming changed Hannah and Chris' lives forever. It brought them the memories, friendships, success, and most importantly the love they share today. Can you believe both of them debated on not even going to Casper in the first place?! The pair are excited to share the next chapter of their lives with you on August 1, 2026, exactly 4 years from the date they thought their paths would never cross again.
