Question

What's the plan for COVID-19 safety?

Answer

See our COVID safety plan here: https://bit.ly/3zNaR5q TLDR: Please bring your own mask as we will not be providing them. Masks will be required for all guests when seated for the ceremony, at food stations, and when entering the indoor restaurant space to use the restroom. Vaccination or PCR & Rapid testing will be required to attend. See full COVID safety plan for details.

Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

Ceremony & reception are both at Wahoo! Grill at 1042 WEST COLLEGE AVE, DECATUR, GA 30030. Check out their website here: https://www.wahoogrilldecatur.com/

Question

Is there parking at the venue / how can we get to the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is valet parking at the venue. We also encourage guests to take a Lyft or Uber if they plan on drinking. The venue is also a 2 minute walk from the East Lake MARTA station.

Question

What should I wear??

Answer

Formal attire. The ceremony and reception will both be *outside* so keep the weather in mind in case it gets chilly. The outdoor garden and patio has paver stones, so I'd recommend avoiding stilettos as it is not a totally even surface.

Question

Is there a hotel block for out of town guests?

Answer

We know a lot of our friends will be staying in airbnbs instead of hotels, so we opted not to reserve a hotel block. There are many hotels to choose from in Atlanta & Decatur (we recommend staying in or close to Downtown Decatur). Check out the Travel page for recommended areas to stay in!

Question

Will the venue accommodate my food restrictions?

Answer

Let us know when you RSVP, and we'll make sure you don't go hungry.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Short answer is no, for a few reasons. Children aren't able to get vaccinated and will be more at risk, we'd love for you to have the night off, and frankly our reception won't be much fun for kids!
