A quaint, largely local town (just 15 minutes from the wedding location). Explore Certaldo with it's adorable Funicular Railway connecting the older and newer parts of the town. You can visit Palazzo Pretorio which is a palace that has been preserved and has art exhibits inside. There is a festival held on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of June, so it could be a fun thing to do as you come in from traveling. Lots of great dining, live music, and more in this lovely city!

Portofino is also known for its colourful houses, amazing seafood harbour restaurants, and small town charm - a highlight of the Italian Riviera. Pietrasanta is known as the "little Athens" of Italy.
