Explore Florence
Florence is a must see when visiting Italy! You can fly into here or take a train to Florence from other cities as a day trip. You can take many different classes, rent a vespa, do a walking tour, explore the markets, and much more!
Explore Pisa
A city in the Tuscany region best known for the iconic Leaning Tower. It's a bucket list for most! Enjoy delicious gelato, pizza in the square, and visit the birthplace of Galileo.
Day Spas
Just outside of Florence is the Asmana Spa. It is the largest day spa in Tuscany. Offering indoor and outdoor pools (even an in-pool cocktail bar), saunas, steam rooms, relaxation rooms, and massage services. Another spa and the closest spa (20 minutes) to La Torre is Villa San Paolo. Surrounded by olive groves, this modern spa has indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, stem and foot spas, and more.
Golf at Castelfalfi
This stunning golf club is about 20 minutes from La Torre and is the largest golf course in the region, featuring over 9,400 metres of fairways surrounded by olive groves and cypress trees. It offers an 18-hole Mountain Course and a 9-hole Lake Course. Definitely a must do for golf enthusiasts!
Explore Certaldo
A quaint, largely local town (just 15 minutes from the wedding location). Explore Certaldo with it's adorable Funicular Railway connecting the older and newer parts of the town. You can visit Palazzo Pretorio which is a palace that has been preserved and has art exhibits inside. There is a festival held on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of June, so it could be a fun thing to do as you come in from traveling. Lots of great dining, live music, and more in this lovely city!
Explore San Gimignano
A medieval hilltop town famed for its striking skyline of towers. Enjoy world class gelato, restaurants, wine tastings, museums, and panoramic views over rolling Tuscan hills.
Explore Gambassi Terme
Near La Torre, you can explore the beautiful Gambassi Terme Hot Springs. This natural oasis is just minutes away, and provides the perfect location for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Explore Siena
Another amazing city which is about 35 minutes from La Torre. There are many museums, markets, and historic areas. Take a cooking class or take a wine tour!
Beaches & the Tuscan Coast
If you are looking to explore some beaches, you're in luck! They are about 1 - 2 hours away from La Torre. Castiglione Della Pescaia, White Beaches of Vada, and Viareggio all have white sandy beaches and each offer something different.
Coastal Villages
A bit farther from La Torre (2 hours +/-), you will find some other amazing spots / coastal villages - Cinque Terre, Portofino, Pietrasanta. Cinque Terre is known for its colourful houses perched on cliffs overlooking the sea, offering gorgeous views, amazing food and wine. Portofino is also known for its colourful houses, amazing seafood harbour restaurants, and small town charm - a highlight of the Italian Riviera. Pietrasanta is known as the "little Athens" of Italy. Many art galleries and nearby beaches.
