Where to stay and how to get there!

Flight

Denver International Airport

The best airport to fly into would be Denver International Airport. It is located outside of Denver and is about an hour and a half drive to Estes Park. The drive can be long, but a large part of it is through the canyons into the mountains! Time flies by on the drive with the beautiful scenery.

Hotel

YMCA of the Rockies

2515 Tunnel Road
Estes Park, CO 80511
 (970) 586-3341

Hallie's family has been staying at the YMCA of the Rockies since the 1950's. It is a very special place for the bride and her family and they would love for you to experience it too! The YMCA has individual cabins as well as lodge rooms. The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the YMCA of the Rockies so this will also allow convenience for you to get to and from events. We highly suggest that you book as soon as you can because they go quick! Guests can call to book a cabin or lodge room starting October 2nd! We cannot emphasize enough how fast these places go, so if you can call or go online on or around October 2nd, that would be the best!

Hotel

Alpine Trail Ridge Inn

927 Moraine Avenue
Estes Park, CO 80517
 (970) 586-4585

For a less expensive option down the street, Connor and I spent time at this hotel. It has limited amenities but offers lower prices for guests! It is about a 5-10 minute drive from the venue!

Hotel

Hotel Estes

1240 Big Thompson Avenue
Estes Park, CO 80517
 (970) 586-3382

This hotel is located right on the entrance into Estes Park from Highway 34. It is located near Lake Estes and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. We have had friends and family stay here and loved it. It is about a 20 minute drive (depending on traffic through town) to the wedding venue.

Hotel

The Stanley Hotel

This hotel is one of the most famous spots in Estes Park. It is the hotel that inspired Stephen King's book and movie The Shining. People stay there for the history and thrill of haunted stories. This can be expensive, but if you are willing to pay, it is a fun opportunity! It is about 20-30 minutes from the wedding venue.

House Or Rental

Air BNB

Connor and I often stay in Airbnbs when we travel. It helped us so much when we were traveling through Europe! There are several options for places to stay in Estes Park through this company. People often rent out their vacation homes or condos. Make sure to read the reviews of the places before you book!
