What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever makes you feel comfortable! We suggest cocktail attire but want you to have a great night and that includes loving what you are wearing!

Will the ceremony or reception be outside?

Answer

We are hoping (weather permitting) to have our ceremony at the outdoor chapel on the YMCA of the Rockies grounds. The reception will be indoors and if there is bad weather, we have an indoor chapel booked as well. We will keep our guests updated!

What if the weather is bad on the day of the wedding?

Answer

We will update the front page of our wedding website to indicate if we chose to change the ceremony location. We have two locations booked just in case, one at the Overlook Chapel which is outside and the other at the Ponder Chapel which is inside.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since Estes Park is at 8,000 feet, it tends to be slightly colder than surrounding areas of Denver and Fort Collins, especially at night. We suggest you bring at least a jacket for the night time! Colorado weather can be pretty unpredictable so bring a rain jacket and be sure to check the weather pretty consistently. If the weather is too dangerous for our outside ceremony location, we will be having the wedding at the Ponder Chapel which is located next to the Administration building and the main parking lot of the YMCA.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! If we have addressed your invitation to "and family," we are hoping you are all able to make it! You can also determine this by RSVPing which will have you RSVP for all adults and children!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your RSVP has "and guest" included, you are welcome to bring whoever you want!

Will there be a shuttle to the wedding venue?

Answer

We are hoping that you are able to make it to the YMCA of the Rockies Administration Building parking lot on your own and a shuttle will take you up to the outdoor chapel and back!

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

Located on the top of this website is an "RSVP" tab. Please input your names and click "not able to attend."

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask to have your RSVP submitted by April 15th. You are able to RSVP on this website under the "RSVP" tab! We understand if things come up so we appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible (even if it is after the deadline!)
