Bride & Groom
Halle and Luis met through the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel. What was supposed to be a quick coffee date somehow turned into six hours of talking, laughing, and getting to know each other. Halle still likes to remind Luis that he never offered to get dinner, but his defense is pretty simple: he was so caught up in the conversation, and so enamored with her, that dinner never even crossed his mind. He just didn’t want the date to end. Since then, they’ve built a relationship rooted in love, laughter, patience, and partnership. Halle is Luis’s rock, and he is constantly inspired by her strength, passion, drive, and determination. Luis is Halle’s steady place, the person who keeps her grounded when life feels a little wild. With him, she feels safe, loved, and completely herself. Together, they feel incredibly lucky to have found the person they get to share life with, and they can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
Matron of Honor
Taryn has been in my life since High school and is truly more sister than friend. From junior year BIM class where we would cause a ruckus if seated together, to summer days in the sun and Pretty Little Liars nights in my parents' game room complete with Chic fil a and gummy bears. She is my built in hype girl, voice of reason, and partner in crime through every phase of life. She is my absolute bestie and there's no one more deserving of the Matron of Honor title.
Maid of Honor
Morgan and I crossed paths in high school but really found our friendship in our early 20's and I'm so glad we did. She is my adventure buddy, always down for a good time gal pal, a spontaneous plan or girls getaway. There is nobody I'd rather have as my Maid of Honor. Life is simply more fun with Morgan by your side!
Bridesmaid
Jasmine is one of those rare friends who feels like she's been in your life forever! She is endlessly kind, always ready to lend a helping hand and brings a little New Orleans charm wherever she goes. I'm so grateful our paths crossed and that she'll be part of this special day!
Bridesmaid
Melina is full of energy, laughter, and fun and I'm excited to have her in the wedding party. Can't wait for all the memories we'll make together on the big day and to gain her as a sister in law!
Best Man
Mark and I have been friends since 6th grade, and somehow we’ve managed to stick together through just about every phase of life since then. From late nights playing video games growing up to playing pool and catching up these days, we’ve shared a lot of great memories along the way. Mark is always the one ready with an inspirational comment or piece of advice, even if he might be making it up on the spot. He’s been my right-hand guy for as long as I can remember and truly feels more like a brother than a friend. I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing beside me as my Best Man.
Groomsman
Logan is my fiancée’s brother, but from the beginning he’s made me feel like part of the family. He’s smart, quick-witted, and always knows how to bring out a laugh from everyone around him. He also likes to remind me that if I ever need help regarding his sister, all I have to do is blink twice. I’m grateful for how welcoming he’s been and excited to have him standing with me on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Shane is Halle’s first cousin, but over time I’ve had the chance to get to know him really well. What started with conversations about video games, anime, and movies quickly turned into a great friendship. We’ve even made a tradition out of going to Comicpalooza together and sharing our love for all things nerd culture. I’m really grateful for the friendship we’ve built and couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather have standing up there with me on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Chris and I met through Halle when she introduced me to him and Jasmine from work. What started as a great couple friendship quickly turned into a solid bond. Chris is someone who brings great energy wherever he goes, always knows how to get a party started, and is just an all-around chill guy to be around. He also stepped up to help me on multiple occasions while I was setting up my proposal party, which meant a lot. I’m grateful for his friendship and couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather have standing up there with me on our wedding day.
Mother of the Bride
My mom was born and raised in New Orleans and has been my best friend, my confidant, and the person I have always called first, whether I needed advice, a place to vent, or someone to celebrate with. She has been my biggest and loudest supporter for as long as I can remember, showing up to every school event, extracurricular activity, and milestone, many of which she was probably the one who signed me up for in the first place. Even now, as an adult, she continues to be my biggest cheerleader in life. She is also my favorite girls’ trip travel buddy and shopping partner. These days, I like to think I push her out of her comfort zone a little, the same way she lovingly pushed me out of mine growing up. Whether we are traveling or getting completely carried away shopping for jewelry and shoes (those are our favorites) she is always the person I want beside me. She is smart, kind, generous, and the type of person who always makes room for others. She has taught me what it means to hold the door open, to offer someone a seat at the table, and to show love through both words and actions. I truly do not know a life without her love, guidance, and support, and I am so grateful to have her as my mom.
Father of the Bride
My dad grew up in New Orleans, which makes getting married there feel even more meaningful. He and I share a lot of the same spirit, which means he has always understood the ambitious, determined, “I can figure this out” side of me. He taught me to walk into every room knowing I belong there, to work hard for what I want, and to take every opportunity that comes my way. He has always encouraged me to dream bigger, push harder, and believe that no door is completely closed if you are willing to find another way in. He is the definition of a good time and has always made life feel full of energy, laughter, and possibility. He also has a signature look: a Ralph Lauren polo. At this point, I’m pretty sure he owns one in almost every color they make, so if you’re looking for him during wedding weekend, he probably won’t be too hard to spot. More than anything, though, he has never let me or my brother question how proud he is to be our dad. He says it often, and he shows it in the way he supports us, encourages us, and celebrates who we are.I am so grateful for the confidence, drive, and strength he has passed down to me. I’m proud to be his daughter and thankful for the role he has played in shaping the woman I am today.
Mother of the Groom
My mom was born and raised in Honduras and has been a constant pillar and rock in my life while growing up. She helped shape and raise me into the man I am today through her strength, support, and unconditional love. Her warmth and kindness have always been felt by everyone around her, and while she may be quieter with her words, she has always shown her love through her actions. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she has done for me and proud to have her as my mom.
Father of the Groom
My dad was born in Honduras, later moving to the Bronx in New York before spending his high school years in New Orleans and attending LSU for college. Growing up, he was the one who brought our family back to New Orleans, and through those trips I fell in love with the city, its food, and its culture. He’s always been a steady and supportive presence in my life, someone I’ve admired and respected in my own way as I’ve grown up. Getting married in New Orleans feels like a small nod to him and the role he’s played in shaping so many of my memories. I’m proud to be his son and grateful for everything he’s done to help raise me into the person I am today.
