FAQs

Question

Is there a room block

Answer

Yes, we have a small room block at The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans, with rates ranging from $359 to $409 per night. We were only able to reserve 20 rooms, so availability within the block is limited. Staying at The Ritz-Carlton is completely optional. Guests are welcome to book accommodations elsewhere, though we recommend staying near the French Quarter or Marché since most of the wedding weekend will take place nearby. Rates outside the room block will vary depending on the hotel and when you book. The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans 921 Canal Street New Orleans, LA 70112

Question

Can I bring a plus one ?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding as we make space for the people closest to us.

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding ?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding day an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, dress up, enjoy the music, and celebrate with us all night long.

Question

What is the dress code

Answer

Formal/Black Tie Optional. We’d love for guests to dress formally while still showing off their personality. Think floor-length gowns, elevated cocktail dresses and tailored suits. Embrace texture, pattern, spring colors and standout accessories! Please reach out to Halle if you have questions. Please see the mood board attached: https://pin.it/5uHoHnmaF

Question

How should I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Transportation will depend on whether you plan to join us for the streetcar ride and second line after the ceremony. Joining the streetcar and second line? We recommend taking an Uber or rideshare to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. After the ceremony, streetcars will meet us outside the church and take guests to Canal and Decatur. From there, we’ll second line approximately half a mile to the reception at Marché. Going directly to the reception? Guests who do not plan to participate may drive to the church and then drive to Marché after the ceremony. Paid parking is available near the reception venue. The streetcar ride and second line are optional, but we’d love for you to join us for this special New Orleans tradition. Comfortable walking shoes, or a change of shoe for the ladies, are encouraged.

Question

Will the ceremony be a full Catholic Mass?

Answer

Yes. Our ceremony will include a full Catholic Mass and is expected to last approximately one hour. Guests of all faiths are warmly welcomed, and the ceremony program will help everyone follow along.
