Question

Will Transportation be provided to and from the Venue?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided. They will be picking up from the Omni Charlottesville Hotel at 4:30pm. We HIGHLY recommend utilizing transportation.

If we choose to drive and use the shuttle back, are we allowed to leave our cars at the venue?

Answer

Yes, however you must come back and pick them up Sunday. Cars cannot be left at the venue for more than 24 hours.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! we will be having an open bar! Keep in mind, while it is not required, we recommend our guests be generous to the amazing bartenders on staff that day and tip if you can.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, We ask our guests to adhere to a formal attire dress code, however cocktail attire is fine! PLEASE do not feel like you HAVE to go out and spend a lot of money on a floor length gown or 3 piece suit.

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Answer

Please let the bride and groom know as soon as possible so that we can ensure food accommodations are made for you. We do not want any guests to go hungry!

Where will the ceremony and Reception take place?

Answer

The Ceremony will take place outside on the patio of the Grand Hall and take no longer than 30 minutes. celebration will continue with cocktail hour in the reserve room then reception to follow in the Grand Ballroom.

Are we allowed to bring our children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a Date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation and the amount of seats we have reserved for you. If your invitation lists only one seat please understand that we are trying to stay within our guest count.

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

You are more than welcome to mail back your RSVP or respond online. Please note that we cannot accept any RSVP's received after May 15. If you do not think you can mail it back in time then please feel free to respond on our website.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the entire venue is one floor and quite accessible.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are utilizing the shuttle then do not stress about arrival time. The shuttle will pick up from the Omni at 4:30pm and guests will arrive before the ceremony starts at 5:30pm. If you are driving, then we ask guests to arrive no later than 5:15 so they have time to take their seats.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, however the parking is limited.
