Stanley is truly one of the most special hidden gems in the Northwest. Because of its remote charm, getting there takes a little extra planning. We completely understand that not everyone will be able to make the trip. For anyone who cannot, we’ll also be hosting a few smaller celebrations in California and we’d love to see you there. For those joining us in Idaho, please keep in mind that lodging, flights, and rental cars are limited, especially over a holiday weekend. Additionally, please be mindful of driving at night as the roads are windy. We recommend planning your travel as early as possible to ensure you’re set for a smooth, stress-free trip.

Sun Valley Airport

This is a small regional airport in Hailey, Idaho (down the road from Sun Valley). Make sure to rent a car ahead of time, as there will be increase demand for the holiday weekend. Distance from Stanley: ~1.5 hour drive.

Boise Airport

This is the larger domestic airport a few hours from Stanley. While a bit further, there are more flight options than Sun Valley. Make sure to rent your car ahead of time and familiarize yourself with the route to Stanley! Distance from Stanley: ~3 hour drive. (Please note: Highway 21 from Boise to Stanley is sometimes closed during the winter, so if you check the driving time during the winter months, it may show longer!)
