Haley grew up spending summers in Stanley rafting, hiking, biking, and four-wheeling—but mostly eating pancakes at the local bakery, lounging at Redfish Lake, and waiting for her dad to finish one of his many cabin projects. When Zach and Haley first started dating, she kept telling him how special this town in Idaho was to her. Their first trip there was only a few months after meeting, in the dead of winter. On the way, they got lost in a storm and stuck in the snow a mile from the house. Towing the car out for two hours was a memorable way for Haley’s Dad and Zach to meet for the first time. Determined to redeem the experience, she brought him back the following summer, ready to finally show him the magic of Stanley. And this time, it worked. They’ve been back every year since, always excited to escape to the mountains and soak up everything this little town has to offer. So when they got engaged and started thinking about where to celebrate, Stanley was on the radar. But it was only once they learned that the Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch had exactly one date left in 2026, it felt like the stars were aligning to bring their favorite people together in their favorite place. P.S. We know getting to Stanley is a bit of a trek! For those who can’t make it, don’t worry, we’ll be celebrating in California soon, and we’d love to see you there. More details to come!
Days are warm, evenings cool quickly, and the weather can change fast, so layers are key! Welcome Party - Casual and fun! Sundresses, jeans, and button-downs are perfect for the welcome party. And don’t forget a layer—the mountain air cools off quickly after sunset! Wedding Day - Our dress code is formal, so think suits, dresses, or jumpsuits. Since we’re celebrating on a ranch, you’re welcome to add a little Western-inspired touch if that feels fun for you. Just keep things feeling elevated rather than costume-like so the vibe stays formal and festive! Block heels or wedges are great (you’ll be on grass and gravel). Bring a wrap or jacket for the crisp evening air. Still not sure what to wear? Yes! Travel will be provided to and from the venue from Stanley for both the Welcome Party at The Shed and the Wedding at Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch. Shuttles will run on set schedules so everyone can relax, enjoy the views, and celebrate safely. More details and exact pickup times will be shared closer to the weekend.
Early September in Stanley means warm, sunny days and crisp mountain nights. Expect highs in the 70s and lows that remind you you’re in the mountains (think cozy sweater weather). Pack layers — you’ll want your sunglasses and your puffy jacket!
The bridal party and immediate family will be staying on-site at the Ranch, but all activities and amenities are open to every wedding guest! Please feel free to stop by anytime to hike, ride horses, use the bikes, soak in the hot pool, play pickleball, or simply relax and take in the views. We’d love to see you around the property!
