This place Haley and Sam went to check out themselves. The owner gave a great tour! Sam was thinking some of his groomsmen could stay here with their dates. There are about 15 different themed rooms here. A/C is provided and there’s a nice little pool in the back. It is walking distance to where the wedding will be, and it is also walking distance to all the restaurants.

These rooms can be found on air b&b and are located right in the heart of Esperanza right above a popular restaurant called Duffy’s. Both Sam and Haley enjoyed the beach views while eating at Duffy’s, along with fresh seafood and tropical cocktails! Another plus is that Duffy’s is walking distance from where the wedding will be!

This Air B&B could be an option for a group of 6 who would want to rent a spot together. It is a 3 minute walk to Malecon which is the downtown boardwalk with all the restaurants, beach, and little shops. This still makes it walking distance to where the wedding will be held.

The Malecon is a 13 room boutique hotel that is more on the pricier side. It is located right in downtown Esperanza and walking distance to the wedding. You would be guaranteed comfortability, and great beach views. Haley and Sam toured this hotel and thought it would be good for a couple or anyone who may be traveling alone.

Trade Winds Bar & Restaurant, Guest House & Gift Shop

Trade Winds is another great restaurant spot that Haley & Sam enjoyed brunch at on their Vieques adventure. Above the restaurant are 10 rooms. Trade Winds is also walking distance to where the wedding will be, and is also right downtown where all other restaurants are located.

Travel to Vieques from San Juan International Air Port 30 min (SJU) Flights Average 159$ each way

You can book this leg of your trip with *some* of the major carriers (JetBlue). *Please allow time for your connecting flight departure with Cape Air. Cape Air offers online check-in, however passengers must still recheck with an agent at the Cape Air departure airport at least 30 minutes prior to departure to weigh carry-on baggage and complete check-in details.

Puerto Rico Ferry

Another way to get to Vieques is to take the ferry. When you go to the photo gallery on our website it will give more detail on how this can be done. Depending on how many people want to go this route, Sam and I will set up a shuttle so people can be picked up at the San Juan airport and be driven to the location of the ferry. This is how we got to Vieques from San Juan.
