When should I expect a formal invitation?

Formal invitations will be mailed in May or June of 2022.

RSVPs will be needed by Saturday, August 6th of 2022.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off and are kindly asking kids not be brought to our wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle between the Dearborn Inn and the museum on the day of our wedding. A shuttle will arrive approximately every 30 minutes. Shuttle service from the hotel to the ceremony will start at 4:30pm, with the last pick up being 5:30pm. At the end of the night, the first pick up from the museum will be at 10:15pm and the last pick up will be 11:45pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot at the museum that is available for guests driving themselves. Guests can then enter through the nearest entrance or follow the sidewalk to the clock tower to enter for our ceremony.
