We first met while volunteering at an event during medical school and we immediately felt a connection! After this initial spark, Eddie asked for her number via instagram later that night and the rest is history!

Eddie hoped that the evening's plans would not be too suspicious considering Haley would be finding out her residency match location the following day (March 19th). On the night of the proposal, Eddie took Haley to the Townsend hotel restaurant for a nice dinner but little did Haley know what was actually in store. After dinner, our waiter followed the plan set in place by Eddie and dropped off a room key to a room that he said contained a spread of wonderful desserts. To Haley's surprise, the room contained much more. It was filled with hundreds of rose petals, dozens of candles, and yes, many desserts. As Haley walked into the room with utter disbelief, Eddie quickly got on one knee and asked the most important question of his life! Haley said YES and Eddie happily ate almost 6 cookies.
