The aspen grove above Warner Lake has to be the best in the state. At the least, it is our favorite and it's absolutely spectacular this time of year. We recommend driving up to take in the views or hike around. From Moab, head south on US-191 S/Main St and travel 7.8 miles. Turn left onto County Rd/Old Airport Rd and travel 0.6 miles. Turn right onto La Sal Mountain Loop Rd/Spanish Valley Dr. and travel for 14.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road #063 (Warner Lake) and travel 5.3 miles to the parking area. Walk 150 yards to Warner Lake.
This is an epic 30+ mile downhill mountain bike that starts high in the La Sals and ends down at the river. There are a handful of companies in town that will shuttle you to the top and you'll spend half a day riding down. If you are coming in to town early and are interested in riding, reach out to Jesse and Haleahy as we may organize a group ride :). https://wholeenchiladashuttles.com/ https://www.coyoteshuttle.com/bike-shuttles/ https://poisonspiderbicycles.com/bike-shuttles/ https://porcupineshuttle.com/
This is our favorite taco truck in Utah! Get the Red Tacos with the side of birria :).
One of our favorite restaurants in Moab. This is where we had our celebratory dinner after getting engaged on the Dolores River :) .
A great brunch spot! Excellent food & brunch cocktails :).
Great spot for breakfast and lunch! Order at the counter and eat in or enjoy to go!
Great for coffee, breakfast, and lunch!
For those flying into SLC and driving to Moab, this is an excellent stop along the way to stretch the legs and step back in time.
This is a beautiful trail along a perennial creek. Plenty of swimming options and a beautiful waterfall down the left hand trail.
Moonflower Canyon is located near Moab, approximately 3.5 miles from the junction of Highway 191 and Kane Creek Road. Situated along the Colorado River, this shady canyon is popular for its short hike, which ends at a small pool. The mouth of the canyon contains petroglyphs; please protect the past and do not touch or deface the rock panels. There is no water available; however, Moab is nearby. Toilets are available. Please keep the area beautiful. Pack out all the trash you bring in and any you find along the way.
