We HIGHLY recommend you check out this spectacular place that is so special to Jesse and Haleahy's story. Island in the Sky district is easily accessible from Moab with great views and hiking options. Check out Mesa Arch! If you're looking for more of a backcountry experience or recommendation, get in touch with us :). To reach Island in the Sky, drive 10 miles (16 km) north of Moab or 22 miles (35 km) south of I-70 on US 191. Turn onto UT 313, and then drive southwest 22 miles (35 km). Driving time to the visitor center from Moab is about 40 minutes. Mesa Arch: A short hike leads to a cliff-edge arch. Mesa Arch is a classic sunrise spot and is popular among photographers. It has stunning views toward the La Sal Mountains any time of day. 0.6 miles/~30 minutes Grand View Point: A stunning out-and-back trail, this walk showcases spectacular panoramic views as it follows the canyon edge. 1.8 miles/1.5 hours

Warner Lake

Warner Lake

UT 84532

The aspen grove above Warner Lake has to be the best in the state. At the least, it is our favorite and it's absolutely spectacular this time of year. We recommend driving up to take in the views or hike around. From Moab, head south on US-191 S/Main St and travel 7.8 miles. Turn left onto County Rd/Old Airport Rd and travel 0.6 miles. Turn right onto La Sal Mountain Loop Rd/Spanish Valley Dr. and travel for 14.2 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road #063 (Warner Lake) and travel 5.3 miles to the parking area. Walk 150 yards to Warner Lake.

The Whole Enchilada Mountain Bike Trail

The Whole Enchilada Mountain Bike Trail

This is an epic 30+ mile downhill mountain bike that starts high in the La Sals and ends down at the river. There are a handful of companies in town that will shuttle you to the top and you'll spend half a day riding down. If you are coming in to town early and are interested in riding, reach out to Jesse and Haleahy as we may organize a group ride :). https://wholeenchiladashuttles.com/ https://www.coyoteshuttle.com/bike-shuttles/ https://poisonspiderbicycles.com/bike-shuttles/ https://porcupineshuttle.com/

Moonflower Canyon

Moab, UT 84532

Moonflower Canyon is located near Moab, approximately 3.5 miles from the junction of Highway 191 and Kane Creek Road. Situated along the Colorado River, this shady canyon is popular for its short hike, which ends at a small pool. The mouth of the canyon contains petroglyphs; please protect the past and do not touch or deface the rock panels. There is no water available; however, Moab is nearby. Toilets are available. Please keep the area beautiful. Pack out all the trash you bring in and any you find along the way.
