Relaxing on the beach
Best Beaches Chaweng Beach (lively, good for nightlife) Lamai Beach (quieter, great for swimming) Silver Beach (hidden gem, clear water) Taling Ngam Beach (near InterContinental, peaceful)
Na Muang Waterfalls
Stunning waterfalls in a jungle setting. Na Muang 2 requires a short hike. Cost: Small entry fee (~$2–$5 AUD)
Snorkeling & Diving at Koh Tao
Koh Tao is famous for clear waters and marine life. Cost: Snorkeling tour ($60 – $80 AUD), diving trips ($100 – $120 AUD).
Jet Skies
Ride a jet ski along Koh Samui’s coastline or take a Jet Ski Island tour Tour. Cost: $70 – $150 AUD per hour.
Big Buddha Temple & Wat Plai Laem
Visit Wat Phra Yai (Big Buddha Temple) – a 12m golden Buddha statue. Wat Plai Laem has a giant Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) statue. Cost: FREE (small donation encouraged).
