Amos: Before meeting Haja in person or even crossing paths with her, I had never believed in love at first sight. My first time seeing a photo of her was on social media, Facebook, to be exact. At first glimpse, I don’t know what it was, but I just felt something strong and different. Something I've never felt in my life before. And honestly, every now and then I would stalk her profile to see if she had uploaded any new pictures or made any posts, and mind you, this was before I even sent her a friend request because I was still building up the courage to talk to her. Honestly, I was afraid of being rejected. But one day I finally sent her a friend request. Although she took a while to accept, I kept faith. Almost a month after sending her a friend request she accepted and on that day idk like the whole day felt good and positive. Although she accepted my friend request I hesitated to send her a message. But I felt like I had to wait till I met her in person one day then go from there. Luckily there was an event that I went to with my friends and she was there with her friends. The thing was, I hadn’t told my friends about this girl yet. At the end of the night, when the event was over I built up the courage to go talk to her. I went over to her while she was with her friends and gently tapped her shoulder to get her attention. She turned around and said, “Yeah how can I help you?” I froze and was lost for words because she had never met me, and she thought I was just a random guy trying to hit her up. But not knowing my true intentions. Fast forward, we started talking and I introduced myself and told her a bit about me, and that I had sent her a friend request a while back, she remembered saying I look better in person. And from that day, we just kept talking over text and phone calls. Haja: I officially met Amos on the 14th of December 2019 (hint hint). He approached me at an event, and I did not recognise him from adding me on Facebook. I don’t really use Facebook a lot, so I did not pay attention to new Facebook requests. When he approached me at the event, I was very reluctant at first, because I thought he was just some random guy. But he was nice, and he didn’t make any weird gestures that made me feel uncomfortable. We exchanged Snapchat details, followed by him messaging me the next day, where we just started talking. Amos became a friend before anything. He was the first guy that I could FaceTime at any time, no matter what I looked like. We instantly became comfortable with each other. He was cool, calm, and just respected me. I never thought we’d actually date, don’t get me wrong I did find him very attractive and I did like him due to the connection we had, but I wasn’t going to be the first to say anything so I kept it to myself, until one day out of the blue, Amos said to me “i don’t know if I should say this, but I’m in love with you” from that day on everything changed.
