We're Getting Married!

October 23, 2022 was the day of the big Liberty vs BYU football game; little did anyone know this would be the day Syler and Hailey found the one. This particular football game was one in which the Liberty wrestling team and figure skating team were assigned to work concessions. With the figure skating team fulfilling food orders, and the wrestling team on trash duty, Syler and Hailey's paths were bound to cross. It could be said that the wrestling team may have been crushing on the figure skaters…or maybe the figure skaters were crushing on the wrestlers. That part of the story may change depending on if you ask Hailey or Syler. Either way, they were warned that there was a bit more chatting than working at this game, but it was all worth it when Syler and Hailey got to hang out after finishing up their work. Following the game, Syler and Hailey went to Scaremare, a haunted house, with some of their friends. It was no secret that the two of them gravitated to each other. Soon they would become best friends and fall in love. From sushi and ice cream dates, to pumpkin patches, to hiking, and trips anywhere from California to Florida, the two of them built an unbreakable bond. It became obvious that the Lord had great plans in store for them. On May 9, 2025, Syler asked Hailey to marry him, and SHE SAID YES! Now, on May 23, 2026, they become one. As Mark 10:9 says, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate".
