Hailey and Grant met during spring break in 2018 in Seaside, Florida, while they were sophomores at Baylor University. Later that fall, they went on their first official date (a Banksy exhibit at an art gallery in downtown Waco) and have been together ever since. In March 2020, they adopted their dog Kobe, who quickly became a cherished part of their lives. After graduating in 2020, they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where they started their first jobs, found their first apartment together, and have continued to call home!

On November 15, 2025, Grant surprised Hailey at Balboa Park in San Diego, a place they had visited together during Hailey’s first trip to California in 2019. With the help of friends and family, he set up a cozy spot at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, complete with pillows, blankets, framed photos, and flowers. After a few nerves and a heartfelt speech, Grant got down on one knee while a photographer captured the moment. The couple celebrated with dinner and a stay at the Hotel Del in Coronado, and later Facetimed friends and family to share the exciting news. Hailey and Grant can’t wait to celebrate their wedding on February 6, 2027, with the friends and family who mean the most to them.
