Flight
We recommend flying direct into Milan Malpensa (MXP). There are direct Delta flights from Boston to Milan on Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday each week. The direct flight is 7.5 hours. We recommend buying at least 3 months in advance and setting price alerts through Google Flights. Historically the prices are best between 8-3 months out. ** There are now direct flights between Boston & Milan with JetBlue! **
Travel Note
Stresa has many beautiful hotels on the lake! We will be staying at the historic Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromee. We are in the process of getting a discount code. There are two other hotels recommended that are very close by. There are also many affordable AirBnB options in Stresa, if you would prefer to go that route! Last year, David and I split our time between an AirBnB and the Grand Hotel.

Train
We recommend using Italo between any major cities, such as Florence > Milan, Rome > Milan.
Train
To get to and from Milano Centrale, you will have to use the regional train and make a connection.
Rental Car
We have rented from both National and Europcar. Automatic cars are typically more expensive. You will need an International Drivers Permit (a piece of paper from AAA, which takes 10 minutes to get). The mountain side roads can get tight, but we rented a wagon and had no issues!

Reach out to Hailee and she will be happy to help with logistics, etc.
