We are so excited to celebrate our wedding in Stresa, Italy — a dreamy lakeside town nestled between the Italian Alps and the shimmering waters of Lake Maggiore. This magical spot holds a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to share it with you. David & I have been to Lago Maggiore for the past 3 years, and knew this was the place we wanted to celebrate with all of you!
🏰 A Little History:
Stresa has enchanted travelers since the 19th century, when it became a favorite destination for European aristocrats, artists, and writers. Grand hotels and villas sprang up along the lake, giving it the graceful style it’s still known for today.
Last summer, we stayed in Stresa for 6 days and had the most amazing time exploring the area. Whether you’re visiting Italy for the first time or returning for more, we hope you fall in love with this place the way we did.

Foodies - this is a must do! This beautiful waterfront restaurant has 2 Michelin Stars. We went here in June of 2025 and had the MOST amazing tasting experience. It is about a 20 minute drive to the small beautiful lake of Mergozzo.
Funivie del Lago Maggiore

The Funivia is a gondola lift across the lake in Laveno, nearby where Hailee's family lives! You can easily take the ferry to other side of the lake, purchase a ticket and see the views!
