Nate and I have been doing life together since we were born… literally. He’s my cousin by heart, but my brother by choice. Whether it was dominating on the soccer field or going to Blockbuster to pick out a movie for the night, Nate was always by my side. Now, our relationship is nothing short of making the best memories over and over again. To this day, he’s still crazy about his movies, but more importantly, he’s the funniest and most thoughtful person I know, and I know he’ll always be by my side through the highs and lows, making me laugh along the way. I wouldn’t want to do life without him.

Bails is my little. For those that don’t know what a “little” is, when I rushed my freshman year of college into a sorority, I recruited her into KAO the following year! The conversations weren’t your typical “why do you want to rush”, we talked about surfing and mac and cheese. We became instant best friends and spent all of college together. Her family became my second home when I needed a home-cooked meal, and we even took a few trips to the beach to learn to surf… unsuccessful. Even living hours away from each other, she’s the person I can talk to about anything. She has the biggest heart, that’s why she’s a nurse, but also Ms. future CRNA one day. HUGE UF fan and also loves a good coffee.

Kurt and I met at UCF before a club soccer practice, when he reluctantly volunteered to pick up a freshman who didn’t have a car yet (me). What started as small conversations about Call of Duty and FIFA quickly turned into an unbreakable bond shaped by years of unforgettable memories. Together, we grew over 300K followers on TikTok, played on the same semi-pro soccer team, and were even duos on the UCF eSports team for a semester. We’ve always matched each other’s HIGH energy and share a rare kind of chemistry. When we’re together… the only way to describe it is magic. Every time. He is truly the life of the party, but beyond all the fun, Kurt is the kind of friend who’s always there for me, no matter the time or the circumstance. I’m incredibly grateful to have him in my life.

We have been friends since middle school and have been with each other through every stage in life. I think we hold the record for longest FaceTime calls, laughing, crying, or yelling, we got each other through anything. There’s never a quiet moment when we are together! So thankful for a bestie that loves sweets because ice cream dates are the best. I got to spend time with her in dental school last year in Arizona, and we went on our first hike together (we killed it). Now getting to be together in Italy for the first time!! Miranda is someone who has her friends’ backs no matter what, and she’s the ULTIMATE hype woman!

As an older cousin, Serg has filled the role of a lifelong role model not only for me, but for our entire friend group. He’s always been fun, funny, and incredibly creative, like when he once convinced Nate and me that he was a Jedi and that his clippers were actually lightsabers. But more importantly, Serg has consistently led by example through his relationship with God, and we all looked up to him as he led youth groups in his twenties. More than anything, I know Serg will always be there for me. He’s someone I can go to for advice, perspective, or support, no matter what season of life I’m in. He’s the kind of person who always shows up, and I’m blessed to have someone like him in my corner.

Deloris and I grew up on the soccer field from when we were 8 years old. As we got older, soccer was always fun, but the best parts were always the times when we were up to something and getting in trouble after (never anything too bad). Like when we put our whole team in a van that only fit 8… Deloris and Susan was another story of when we decided we were going to call each other different names. The funniest and craziest best friend I know, confident and true to who she is always! I spent many afternoons hanging out at her house and practically lived there in high school. Even through the craziness of college, we still have each other’s backs always! Makes the best caramel macchiato you will ever have!

I met Caden when he was a freshman in high school during my first visit to Hailee’s house. We immediately formed a unique bond, so much so that strangers could mistake him for my younger brother, not Hailee’s. From the start, he’s been one of the most fun people to be around and talk to, always down for anything and easily one of the wittiest, smartest kids I know. Early on, we spent a lot of time at the soccer fields, having fun and teaching a few kids lessons in Naples pickup games. Since then, we’ve formed a brotherhood built on fantasy football, sports betting, and countless memories. We already have enough inside jokes to last a lifetime, and while we’re already brothers, I can’t wait to make it official! That’s my brother for life.

My future sister-in-law!! We always have each other’s backs, and she is a light inside and out. We met at Dylan’s apartment right after we started dating and soon found out we most likely played each other in soccer… crazy! I love our shopping trips and can’t wait for a lifetime of them, she easily has the best style I know. I love you and am forever grateful I have an amazing SIL. You have so many nick-my-names, but I’ve always called you Ochi <3 We can make some professionally made charcuterie boards at every family occasion!

I’ve been writing Aaron’s name in the “best friend” spot on school worksheets for as long as I can remember. We met on the soccer field when we were around eight years old, and over the last 19 years, we’ve built an indestructible, lifelong friendship. No matter how much time passes or how long we go without seeing each other, nothing ever changes. Back then, we did everything we could to get our dads to grab coffee after practice so we could keep playing. Now, we do everything we can to line up trips to Naples so we can still hang out, catch up, and have fun together. He’s a forever friend, and I’m incredibly blessed to have him in my life.

Blan and I also met on the soccer field, but our friendship really took off in college through our shared love for Game of Thrones (which he recommended to me) and grinding hours of Fortnite together. We didn’t have the chance to build a friendship earlier since we went to different high schools, but after long nights on the mic and meeting up for soccer and spike ball during college breaks, I realized how much we had in common! From there, our friendship only continued to grow, and now I just wish we had met sooner. Blan will always be someone I’m grateful to call a friend, and I know he’ll be part of my life for many years to come.

Cousins by fault, but best friends for life! We spent a lot of time doing photoshoots around Moberly, getting lost down dirt roads, and doing hair and makeup every night. The best memory being when we went for a drive-in movie and a large bug flew into the car… popcorn went everywhere! Maddie is someone who always wants to have fun, and I’ve loved getting to see her grow up into the faithful, loving person she is today. Did I mention she’s hardworking and a smartie… she’s a Future Engineer at MIZZOUUU. She has a special place in my heart and will forever be a little sister to me. I will encourage and love her through it all.

Damian and I share such an awesome bond. He’s my younger cousin who lives in New Jersey and has always found a way to make my trips visiting family even more fun. We’ve played countless games together growing up and still do to this day. When we were younger, we’d spend hours being creative and playing in his basement, and when in different states, we made it work by playing games online. Damian is incredibly genuine and one of those people you just know will always be there. No matter how long we go without talking, we know we can always pick right back up, and we’re always down for a spontaneous ShopRite run to grab popcorn kernels, pop them, and throw on a good show like Stranger Things. Damian has visited Florida a few times, and every time we hang out, it feels like a brother coming home. Damian will always hold a special place in my life, and I’m fortunate to have him not only as a cousin, but a true best friend.

Cousins by fault, but besties for life. Our girl time included getting dressed up in our moms’ bedrooms and rehearsing full concerts for our family, which took the whole night. Lauren is one of the strongest people I know, and through anything she’s gone through, she’s always smiling. Lauren loves to read and is a fashionista!! My little cousin is now in college, and Lauren is going to be a future teacher and have such an amazing impact on the kids she meets. She will always hold such a special place in my heart, and I will always be cheering her on forever and ever. I’ve loved getting to see you grow up!

I don’t even know where to begin. Billy and I first met playing pickup soccer at UCF right before I left to play at Assumption College. When I came back to UCF, we reconnected during club soccer tryouts, and it felt like we were always meant to meet when we did. We immediately clicked and were inseparable (as we became roommates) all the way through graduation. Some of my best college memories happened with Billy by my side… and some of my worst. But through semi-trucks trying to take us out, pranking our friends, and everything in between, we always found a way through it together which is how I know this friendship is built to last. Billy is an incredibly kind-hearted guy with an amazing sense of humor and an unmatched ability to have fun. I know I can always count on him when I need him.
