When should I arrive in Sorrento?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Thursday, May 29 or Friday morning, May 30, so you can join us for the Welcome Cocktail Hour and settle in before the wedding day.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless your invite has their name on it please do not bring unexpected guest. We have a guest limit with planned assigned seating.

The ceremony and reception will be held at Villa Antiche Mura in Sorrento, overlooking the Bay of Naples.

When should I arrive on the wedding day?

Please plan to arrive shortly after 4:30pm, 30 minutes prior to ceremony time. This allows time for everyone be sat for the ceremony to begin.

Welcome Cocktail Hour (May 30): Sunset Cocktail Party — chic, colorful, light fabrics with a Riviera vibe. Wedding Day (May 31): Formal with an Italian twist — elegant, breathable, and festive.

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

The nearest airport is Naples International Airport (NAP). From there, Sorrento is about 1 hour 15 minutes by car.

How do I get from Naples to Sorrento?

We have secured a room block at Hotel Central Wellness, just an 8-minute walk to Villa Antiche Mura and close to Piazza Tasso. A booking link and special code will be provided soon. See our Travel page for more information. We also recommend any Bed & Breakfast, Airbnb, or Hotel in the historic center of Sorrento.

Is there parking?

Our wedding venue does not have parking and street parking is very limited. We recommend taking a taxi from your hotel or staying at a walking distance from the venue.

Is transportation provided on the wedding day?

Answer

No transportation is needed! Guests staying at Hotel Central Wellness will enjoy a short 8-minute walk to the venue.

What is the weather like in late May?

Answer

Sorrento in late May is warm and sunny, with daytime highs around 75–80°F (24–27°C) and cooler evenings by the water. We suggest bringing a light wrap or jacket for evenings.

What currency is used in Italy?

Answer

The Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but we recommend carrying some cash for taxis, small shops, and tips.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means we kindly request phones and cameras to be put away, out of sight, and on silent or do not disturb. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture these incredibly special moments for us. We do not want those special shots to be blocked by cellphones. All pictures and videos will be shared with guest. The reception is free range. Please take all the pictures and videos you desire.
