Travel Note
From Naples, guests can reach Sorrento in several ways: 1. Private Transfer (Recommended): The most convenient option is booking a private car service directly from the airport to Sorrento. 2. Taxi: Available outside the arrivals terminal. Expect around €90–€120. 3. Train: From Naples Central Station, take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento (approx. 1 hour). 4. Ferry: Seasonal ferries run from Naples’ Beverello Port to Sorrento’s Marina Piccola (approx. 40 minutes).
Travel Note
On Saturday, May 31, the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Villa Antiche Mura. For those staying in the center of Sorrento, we have arranged a shuttle to pick up all of our guests outside the Hotel Michelangelo (located at Corso Italia, 275, 80067 Sorrento NA, Italy). At the end of the wedding celebrations, this same shuttle will drive our guests back to the same location.

Sorrento is a very walkable town, with most restaurants, shops, and attractions located near the main square (Piazza Tasso) and easily reached on foot. Here are a few tips for getting around: Walking: The easiest and most enjoyable way to explore Sorrento. The hotel, main square, and wedding venue are all within walking distance. Taxis: Available at designated taxi stands, but note that taxis in Sorrento can be limited and more expensive than in larger cities. Public Bus: Local buses connect Sorrento with nearby towns along the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello). Tickets can be purchased at tobacco shops or kiosks. Ferry: Ferries from Sorrento’s Marina Piccola run to Capri, Naples, and Positano, making for an easy and scenic day trip. Scooter Rental: For the adventurous, scooters are available for rent and are a popular way to explore the Amalfi Coast. (Be mindful that roads are narrow and winding!) We recommend walking whenever possible to soak up the charm of Sorrento’s streets and breathtaking coastal views.
