FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kelly Lai and Daniel Lai
We can't wait to share our special day with you guys! Please reach out to us with any additional questions you may have that's not listed here.
Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by May 1st If you do not RSVP by July 1st, you unfortunately will be marked as a "No". We will miss celebrating with you, but we must provide an exact headcount for vendors. If you were to show up without RSVPing, there will be no seat for you or a meal. Make sure you RSVP before the deadline. Thank you!

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

As much as we would like to have everyone there, we can't. Please note that this invite is specifically for those named on the invitation. Due to venue's maximum capacity, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We hope you understand and look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Answer

As said before, we would love to have everyone, but due to limited space, not all children will be invited. If you have any questions or if things aren't clear, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

Sunday best or formal attire. We also encourage you to show off in traditional cultural attire. We want to see you in your best! The bride respectfully asks that guests do not wear white or red. Dress up and party with us!

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony/mass will start at 1PM and professional photos are to follow after with the bride and groom.

Question

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY OR RECEPTION?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking in front and on the sides of the building. Please ensure you have a safe ride home.

Question

WILL YOUR WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

BOTH! The reception dinner will be indoors, but there are areas outside that you can mingle and there will be heaters provided.

Question

DO YOU HAVE A REGISTRY?

Answer

We would like to preserve the Vietnamese/Chinese tradition of the "Red Envelope" in lieu of a registry. It is customary to gift red envelopes, which are monetary gifts given during special occasions to signify goodwill/ fortune to newlyweds and their future. If you are thinking of a gift to help us on our way, contributions towards our future together will be greatly appreciated, if electronically works better you can also send it here: https://venmo.com/u/dannilai
