Travel Note

Check that Passport!

Wherever you’re coming from, make sure you have your passports ready! Spain requires that your passport be valid at least 3 months beyond your trip's departure date. Some countries have a 6-month window, so be sure to check the guidelines for all of the places you plan to visit

Flight

Flight to Barcelona

We’re headed to Spain to the one and only Villa Almanita for a stay from Monday evening to Thursday morning. Sitges is located 20 minutes south of the Barcelona airport (BCN). There are direct flights from some major US airports, however if you do have to connect we suggest you do so in the states to avoid busy European airports and passports checks. If you do connect through a European city and are not aware of the passport control and process for changing planes in Europe, please reach out and we'll share some valuable info to help make your transfer smooth.

If you want, you can download the app LUGGit, which allows you to arrange a pickup, storage, and drop off of your luggage at any location in Barcelona. Depending on how early your flight arrives, you can arrange for a driver to pick up your luggage and store it while you explore the city or grab a meal.
