Explore Penedès Wine Area Villa Almanita is located in the heart of the Penedès, one of Spain’s most important wine regions. Famous for its white wines and Cava (Spanish sparkling wine), the area is dotted with traditional and modern bodegas that offer tastings and tours so that you can experience local winemaking at its best. For a more personal touch, we can arrange private tours or tastings with nearby producers, and don’t forget, our own vineyards also produce red wine, making your experience truly full circle.

Known for its whitewashed streets, art galleries, and vibrant restaurant scene, Sitges is perfect for both daytime exploring and magical evenings. Relax on the long sandy beaches, stroll along the marina, or rent a boat for a day at sea. Cultural highlights include the Maricel Museum and the Cau Ferrat, once home to artist Santiago Rusiñol. For dining, you´re spoilt for choice!

Just Minutes away The beaches of Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú are both only 10–15 minutes from the villa. These Mediterranean coastlines offer golden sands, crystal waters, and plenty of vibrant chiringuitos (beach bars). In Vilanova, enjoy beach bars and beach clubs for a relaxed day by the sea with excellent cuisine. In Sitges, head to Platja de San Sebastià or Platja de la Fragata for a mix of locals and visitors. You’ll find fantastic seafood, paellas, and traditional Spanish tapas all along the coast.
