Grace and Jamie were introduced to each other on a dating app - but their story started long before that! They both attended Saint Louis University in undergrad, and even have pictures from the same parties and wonderful mutual friends. Grace probably even pet Misty Rey (Jamie's dog) while walking by the Clock Tower in the middle of campus, but they weren't destined to be together until a fateful first date at a board game store-turned-bar. Jamie, trying to impress Grace, pretended to know the rules to all of the games they played. Grace, who actually knew the rules and had read the instructions, was so smitten by how Jamie smiled at her and how easy it was to talk to her that she was happy to just play along. Since then they fell in love in an art museum, surrounded by art that could only imitate how beautiful their love would grow to be. They have lived in two Chicago apartments together, have been raising Misty Rey, and have played more board games than they can count. Each took a turn proposing to the other, and each day was just as special and tied to their love of art (and even bagels!). They cannot wait to make more picturesque memories gong forward, especially with their loved ones by their sides.
