Maid of Honor
Sydney and the bride first connected through a Mayo Clinic roommate page when they both moved to Rochester to begin their nursing careers. What started as simply sharing an apartment quickly turned into a lifelong friendship. Sydney, originally from Indiana, embraced Minnesota life alongside the bride — from becoming “Auntie Sydney” to Elsie and helping raise the bride’s dog from a puppy in their apartment, to braving her first ice fishing trip at the cabin and even putting up with the groom and his lively crew of friends. She is one of the bride's greatest friends, and the bride couldn't imagine her wedding day without her as maid of honor.
Best Man
The groom and DJ first met in high school, but their friendship really took off in the summer of 2018. That summer was full of adventures — hanging out with the bride and groom, afternoons at the rope swing, and the unforgettable attempt to chew an entire container of Hubba Bubba. Since then, DJ has been a loyal friend and someone the groom can always count on to talk through life with a real and honest perspective. Some of the best memories together include hunting trips to North Dakota — especially the day DJ came strolling through the field in bright pumpkin underwear, proudly carrying a handful of ducks like it was the most normal thing in the world — and weekends at the cabin swapping stories. DJ’s loyalty, humor, and friendship mean the world to the groom, and he couldn’t imagine his wedding day without him by his side.
Bridesmaid
Hayley and the bride first met sophomore year of college when Hayley transferred schools, and they became roommates in a six-person suite. Their bond only grew stronger through junior and senior year, and since college Hayley has continued to be by the bride's side as both a trusted friend and go-to concert companion. One memory that stands out is their senior spring break trip to Mexico — filled with afternoons at the pool’s walk-up bar, dancing nonstop to La Mamá de la Mamá, and watching the sunset. She has a gift for making the bride laugh, is always there to talk things through, and has been a constant supporter of the bride and groom's relationship since the very beginning. The bride knows the day wouldn’t feel complete without Hayley by her side, bringing that same joy and energy she’s shared for years.
Groomsman
The groom and Kyle’s friendship goes all the way back to 6th grade, when they bonded over snowmobiling and deer hunting. Summers were spent biking everywhere together — especially to the Coon Rapids Dam — and kayaking whenever they got the chance. Their paths crossed again at the bowling alley where Kyle worked alongside the bride and groom, the very place the couple first met. The groom always laughs remembering how Kyle once said he didn’t think they’d still be friends when they got older — and now here they are, standing side by side on the wedding day. Kyle’s personality is one of a kind — funny, straightforward, and just a little bit of a “cheap ass” in the most endearing way — but also deeply caring and always there for his friends. Some of the groom’s favorite times with Kyle include hunting trips, ice fishing, and weekends spent laughing, arguing over which beer is better, and giving Kyle a hard time in the way only true friends can.
Bridesmaid
Brenna and the bride first met freshman year of college on the dance team, moving in early together for preseason. Some of their first memories together were in their dorm lounge, where a group of girls — including the bride and Brenna — would gather to work through chemistry problems. By sophomore year, Brenna and the bride became roommates and stayed that way through senior year, growing even closer as they tackled the nursing program side by side with countless coffee-fueled study sessions. A core memory is the two of them spending late nights in the anatomy lab, holding bone structures in hand, and coming up with creative ways to remember them. Since college, they have both started their nursing careers, and Brenna has remained a steady source of support — always there to listen when work gets challenging. She is not only a loyal friend but also one of the kindest people the bride knows, and the bride feels so lucky to have her as a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
Ben is not only one of the groom’s groomsmen but also the bride’s brother, making his role in the wedding even more meaningful. Some of the groom’s favorite memories with Ben include rounds of golf playing best ball, ice fishing, fixing clapped junk, sharing laughs along the way, and hunting trips where the groom was able to pass along tips and tricks. A favorite memory is their trips to Florida with Ben and his friend — complete with endless laughter and even barking at people on the streets — as well as the running jokes sparked by Ben’s grandpa’s one-of-a-kind humor. Another unforgettable moment came at Mille Lacs Lake, when Ben unloaded his gun on a raft of lousy coots, a story that still gets everyone laughing. The groom and Ben have built a relationship full of fun, respect, and plenty of laughs, and the groom couldn’t be happier to have him standing by his side on the wedding day.
Bridesmaid
The bride and Maddie first met sophomore year as roommates, despite having lived just a door away during their freshman year. Their connection grew instantly, rooted in shared family experiences and countless long conversations. Some of the bride’s fondest memories with Maddie are cheering together at Johnnie game days, catching up over coffee, and spending weekends exploring breweries. A favorite memory is from their Johnnie game day tailgates, filled with nonstop laughter and the ongoing tradition of making sure “Maddie snacks” were packed before heading to the bar. Through college and beyond, Maddie has remained a constant source of joy, comfort, and unwavering friendship. The bride feels so grateful to have her standing by her side for such a special day.
Groomsman
The groom and Jack met a few years ago through a mutual friend, and since then, they’ve had no shortage of adventures — from bowfishing and duck hunting to weekends at the cabin. One of their favorite memories is tracking deer together, beer in hand, trying to figure out where the hell the deer went. Recently, the two have even become co-workers, with Jack stepping into the role of the groom’s apprentice — a position that comes with plenty of jokes, hard work, and the occasional eye roll. Jack’s always got a way of making everything more fun, whether it's cracking jokes, puposefully blowing a fuse (not a breaker), or just making the best out of any situation. Through it all, they’ve built a friendship that’s filled with laughs, good times, and countless memories. The groom wouldn’t want anyone else by his side on the wedding day.
Bridesmaid
The bride met Mallory when she started dating Tanner, one of the groom’s close friends from high school. On visits to Mankato to see their friends, Mallory was always there to welcome them with warmth and kindness — and their tradition of stopping at Schell’s Brewery quickly became a favorite part of those weekends together. One memory that stands out is the cruises they’ve taken together with their group of friends, filled with sunshine, laughter, and adventures. Over time, the bride and Mallory’s friendship grew as they bonded over their careers in nursing, and Mallory began working at the same hospital as the bride in Rochester. Mallory’s adventurous spirit, kindness, and fun-loving nature make every moment together memorable, and the bride feels so lucky to have her by her side on her wedding day.
