FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can! RSVPs are needed earlier than usual for a destination wedding so we can plan accommodations, events, and help everyone with travel arrangements. Please make sure to submit your RSVP by October 1st, 2026.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

YES!! Please ensure your passport is valid through at least April 2027. We kindly ask that you schedule an appointment as soon as possible to obtain or renew your passport with ample time. This is not something we want anyone to have to worry about at the last minute!

Question

When should we plan to arrive in Ireland for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests arrive in Ireland by Saturday, April 10th, 2027. This provides a comfortable buffer in case of any flight delays or cancellations, helping to keep travel as stress-free as possible for everyone. Guests are free to begin exploring or head home starting Wednesday, April 14th, 2027. For more information and suggested flight options, please visit the Travel page.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re going full celebration mode and asking for formal attire! Think elegant, polished, and festive—this is your chance to dress up and feel amazing. Please leave jeans, t-shirts, and casual clothes at home. To help the bridal party stand out, we kindly ask guests to also refrain from wearing shades of white and emerald green. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best on this special day!

Question

When should I have my flight booked by?

Answer

Please use our Travel page for guidance on suggested flights. While we cannot guarantee that the recommended flights will remain available, we encourage you to book as soon as possible. We understand everyone’s financial situation is different, which is why we’re planning well in advance. We recommend you have your flights booked by November 1st, 2026.

Question

What currency is used in Ireland? Are credit/debit cards accepted?

Answer

Euros (€) are the official currency used in Ireland. We recommend exchanging some cash at your local bank before you travel, as exchange services in Ireland often charge higher fees. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted throughout the country, but keep in mind that some banks charge international transaction fees. If you plan to use your cards abroad, it’s a good idea to let your bank know you’ll be traveling to avoid any issues with blocked transactions. Having a little cash on hand is always helpful—especially for smaller shops, pubs, or rural areas where cards might not be accepted.

Question

Which airport is most convenient for the wedding?

Answer

The closest airport to the wedding venue is Cork Airport (ORK), which is about an hour away. Dublin Airport (DUB) is another option, though it requires a 3–4 hour drive to reach the venue. For details on suggested accommodations nearby and recommended flights, please visit our Travel page.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend is adults-only. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy a kid-free vacation—relax, explore, and celebrate with us worry-free!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Our invitations are carefully tailored, as this is a very intimate, small wedding. We hope you’ll understand and still join us for an amazing celebration with our closest friends and family!
