We met here for our first official date! (Bring jumper cables...) Visitors can take a paved road to the park visitor center, then up to a parking lot on the ridge. Short trails from there allow access to the main Little Pinnacle Overlook and other viewing stations. We highly encourage our guests to make the trip up to see the raptors and vultures that circle Big Pinnacle, or enjoy a mountaintop picnic. Adventurous visitors can explore more than 14 miles of hiking trails, horseback riding, and rock climbing.
Emma's love of wine has rubbed off on Michael over the years, and now we love dropping in at local wineries during our travels. The Yadkin Valley holds the distinction of being North Carolina’s first AVA (American Viticultural Area), where moderate elevations and proximity to the Yadkin River allow a variety of grapes to thrive. There are dozens of local wineries to discover!
