Maid of Honor
Morgan entered my life on June 23, 1991. Roommates by birth, and later by choice (multiple times). I got very lucky to have a sister who is also my partner in crime and best friend.
Bridesmaid
In my life since Fall 2009. We were Pi Phi's together at USC, studied abroad together in Amsterdam, and did Teach for America together in Denver. If there wasn't an Austin and a Drew, it would be Ally and Laurie.
Bridesmaid
In my life since fall 2001. Lauren transferred to Forest Ridge middle school where we became fast friends and share many memories over the years. Most notably, she's the sole witness of mine and Drew's first encounter--when he asked her to dance in 7th grade.
Bridesmaid
Bri and I started at the Learning Garden together in 1993, but our parents quickly formed a bond outside of daycare. We started skiing together every Sunday; first at Snoqualmie as Powder Pigs and then we advanced to Crystal Mountain. We'd meet at the Starbucks in Issaquah, get our hot chocolates, and the seven of us would cram into our family's suburban--and Morgan, Bri and I would belt A*Teens, Backstreet Boys and NSYNC the whole ride home. Skiing expanded into mid-winter breaks at Whistler and of course, Sun Valley. As a Forest Ridger, Eastsider, and God sister, Bri is intertwined in many facets of my life. Not to mention, she and her husband Chris, were "Drew and Laura" cheerleaders from the very beginning.
Bridesmaid
I entered her world on April 10, 1990. Our families lived down the street from each other in our first and second houses in Sammamish Beach Club in Issaquah, and again in Windsor Greens on the Plateau. We celebrated nearly every holiday together over the years, and we share countless memories running in and out of each other's houses as kids. We've gone through many good times and also challenging times together over the years. Bizzy isn't just a friend, she's family.
Bridesmaid
She entered my life on May 10, 1990 just a month after I was born, and we were immediately two peas in a pod. She's Bizzy's little sister, and again lived down the street from each other at every single one of our family houses. Anna was known in our family as the "Ever Ready Battery" girl. Full of energy, and always looking for a party. She brought a lot of laughter to my childhood, and continues to do so.
Bridesmaid
I entered her world on April 10, 1990 as her favorite next door neighbor and she couldn't get rid of me. We grew up together in Sammamish Beach Club and our family followed hers (and the Williams) up to the Plateau. We share countless memories over the years, ranging from Lauren playing Jane Bond in our childhood video series, to adventuring Canada’s best skiing mountains together. To say she is like family is an understatement.
Bridesmaid
Christy entered my life in 1993. We lived down the street from each other at our second house in Sammamish Beach Club, and Morgan and I were at her house A LOT playing on her swing set, frolicking in the lake and trying to get our turn at Nintendo64. We attended most of our schooling together, and by high school I was regularly at her house again (along with Abby and Morgan), eating otter pops and green jello, and pulling all-nighters to complete projects last-minute after we'd watched Disney or Planet Earth.
Bridesmaid
Abby came into my life in 1997, halfway through first grade. There's video evidence of Abby eating cake at my 7th birthday as others were immersed in a different activity, a fitting imagery. We reconnected in high school and quickly established a routine (with Christy) of eating Jan's food and drinking Jan's tea, napping together on her parent's couch, neighborhood walks, watching FRIENDS, and procrastinating until we'd have to pull all-nighters to complete our homework. Among all of our shared hobbies and pastimes, eating remains our favorite.
Bridesmaid
Believe it or not, Audrey has been in my life since fall 2004, as a little 7-year-old munchkin. She attended all Eastside Catholic Football games, and most significantly cared for mine and Drew's baby during our high school project (i.e. kept it alive). Now, she's the best dog auntie ever and played matchmaker to help us get our Winnie.
