As of March 22, Washington is in Phase 3 of the state's re-opening plan, whereby ceremonies and receptions are restricted to 50% of the venue capacity, and both cocktail hours and dancing are allowed. We intend to move forward with a small ceremony and reception following the Covid guidelines for a safe event.
Our hope is yes. At this time, we've invited our closest friends and family to celebrate with us. However, as the phases roll out in Washington and as we get closer to the wedding day, we may need to adjust our guest list accordingly. We appreciate your understanding as we navigate the ever-changing details.
We will keep all guests informed as we get closer to the wedding day.
We are requesting that guests who are not vaccinated receive negative COVID test results no more than 3 days before attending our wedding. If a guest who has RSVP'd to attend receives a positive test result or doesn't feel well, we request they stay home for the safety of others. Fortunately, we anticipate at least 80% of our guest list to be vaccinated by the wedding day. Throughout the weekend we will be following relevant COVID guidelines. In addition, the venue for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception provides a comfortable indoor open air layout which allows appropriate air flow and ventilation, and dinners will be individually plated (i.e. not shared family style). While we are taking these precautions, please be mindful that attending any gathering is an inevitable risk and we understand if you are not comfortable attending.
At this time, our intent is to move forward with the wedding in whatever way we can. Again, we appreciate your flexibility as we learn more information and navigate changing details.
