Flight

NYC Airports

JFK, Laguardia and Newark are all approximately the same driving distance away (2 hours without traffic). See below for information on Trailways busses that will take you from NYC to Phoenicia (closest city), Woodstock (second closest), and Kingston for a low price. You can also take the MetroNorth train from Grand Central or 125th Street to Poughkeepsie, or you can take Amtrak from Penn Station to Hudson.

Albany Airport

You can also fly into Albany, which is only about an hour's driving distance away from the venue, but flights may be more expensive. A third airport option is Kingston, included here for completeness, but Jonah has advised that "no one will fly into Kingston."

Trailways Busses (from NYC to Upstate)

Trailways runs affordable busses from NYC (Port Authority or Hudson Yards) to a few different towns upstate that are nearby. Phoenicia is the closest, but Woodstock, Saugerties and Kingston are also nearby. Port Authority is confusing, and these roads can hit traffic, so build in some extra time!

Metro North to Poughkeepsie

Inexpensive and reliable, you can take a MetroNorth train from Grand Central or Harlem 125th Street to Poughkeepsie, which is about 1 hour driving from the venue.

Amtrak to Hudson

Comfortable and reliable, but for a little more scratch, you can take Amtrak from Penn Station to Hudson, which is about 1 hour driving distance from the venue.

Hotel Dylan

We have reserved a room block at Hotel Dylan, a boutique hotel in Woodstock approximately 10 minutes from our venue. School busses will be available to transport guests from Hotel Dylan to our ceremony and reception venue, and then back to Hotel Dylan at the end of the night (or, for braver souls, to the after party). There will also be a late bus from the after party back to Hotel Dylan after midnight. UPDATE: You must call Hotel Dylan to reserve the rooms on our room block, they will show as unavailable on the website.

The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream

Another nearby, less expensive hotel is the Woodstock Inn on the Millstream, a delightful BnB in the Hudson Valley.

For a more luxurious stay during your upstate weekend, Emerson Resort and Spa is also nearby the venue. The Spa is the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking and "leaf peeping" in the area.
