Jack's family is originally from the UK, his mother's side is Welsh and his father's side is English, we decided to celebrate near Jack's family because it is a place that means so much to us, and we are so excited to share it with all of you!
Yes, all guests traveling from any country outside of the UK will need a valid passport. We recommend applying or renewing your passport as soon as possible, as you will need it to book international flights.
Guests may either rent a car and drive to Somerset/Crowcombe area which takes about 3 hours, or you can take the train from London Paddington Station to Taunton, which takes about 3 to 4 hours. Taunton is then about a 20 minute drive from the venue.
We recommend flying into Heathrow Airport (LHR), which has the most direct international flight options.
We are working on a list of hotel recommendations, in the meantime, we recommend guests stay in Taunton, near the train station, as this will make transportation easier. We will be providing a shuttle from Taunton to the wedding venue.
A few helpful things to note: you will be using British pounds instead of dollars (most places are card friendly or use Apple Pay), "chips" are what Americans call "fries" and "crisps" are potato chips, and tipping at restaurants is not as standard as in America. The UK also uses different plug outlets (don't forget an adapter), and people drive on the left side of the road.
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!
Yes, we are arranging shuttle transportation from Taunton hotels to and from the venue on the wedding day.
Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.
