Early June can be a really big swing, weather-wise. The plan for Saturday night is to be indoors for the short ceremony and then outdoors for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. We're hoping it will be warm for most of the evening (high 70s to high 60s) but we would recommend dressing for warmer temperatures and bringing a wrap, suit jacket, or blazer.
If you are staying downtown and flying into Denver International Airport, we would recommend taking the A Line Train from the airport to Union Station. However, even though it is scheduled to run every 15 minutes during the day and 30 minutes at night, there have been a lot of cancelations lately due to staffing shortages. If you don't want to rely on the train, grabbing an Uber or Lyft will not cost much more to get downtown and might be faster. Check out these websites for more information regarding: Ride share from the airport https://www.flydenver.com/parking_transit/transit/mobile-app-services Taking the train https://www.flydenver.com/parking_transit/transit/a_line_commuter_train Track current trains at https://www.rtd-denver.com/app/nextride/route/A?direction=0
The Rally is offering $15 valet parking for guests of our wedding, please just be sure to tell your valet you're with the Gronich/Grayson wedding. There are several parking garages within a few blocks of the hotel as well, but Saturday evenings with a Rockies game can mean increased prices and full lots. Taking a train or light rail into Union Station or an Uber/Lyft to the hotel would be a great option as well.
Absolutely not! Our wedding is at the Rally Hotel, one block from Union Station. All other wedding activities will be held downtown as well. Trains are scheduled to run from Union Station to Denver International Airport every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes at night (though be aware there are many cancelations due to staffing shortages, see the note above). Once downtown, you can get everywhere you need by foot, light rail, train, or ride share. The only reason to rent a car would be if you were planning to head to Red Rocks, Rocky Mountain National Park, or up into the mountains. See the Travel and Things To Do pages for more information.
We will wait until we get a little closer to determine what, if any, health precautions we'll be following to protect vulnerable family members. Don't hesitate to reach out to us in the meantime if you're not sure what this means for you.
The ceremony and reception are for adults only (18+). If you are making the trip out to Colorado as a family, we would love to see your kids on Friday night and Sunday morning!
